Universidad de Deusto (2020 - 2021)

Earned a highly coveted full scholarship with the Wuwana Project, selected among thousands of applicants as one of only 25 projects chosen.

My interest in tech started with the Wuwana project. The objective was to help individuals find local suppliers.

The problem

Many suppliers do not have strong SEO strategies, making it difficult for them to rank high on search engines and attract potential customers. As a result, it can be difficult for aspiring entrepreneurs to find suppliers that offer the right products and services, at the right prices and with the right quality standards.

The idea

A modern directory that scrapes the online content of a brand and classify them for easy finding. The end goal was to create the Alibaba for the western world.

What we did

  1. Conducted UX research and interviews with small merchants and key stakeholders from PME MTL and Made in Montreal.
  2. Earned selection to participate in the Citizen Bootcamp 2021 cohort, a startup accelerator program funded by Citi Bank.
  3. Developed a working prototype as a proof of concept.
